SAMS joined in a request for a workshop by the organisers of a group visit of older teens from a school in South Korea. They have spent a month in our region understanding something of English (and North Yorkshire) culture!
For much of the month their day activities have centred around Whitby and Sleights. SAMS wanted to give the group of 16 a day to themselves but with the purpose of doing something for the community. Thus today’s activity was to make workbenches for little ones to play at.

Locals are invited to St. John’s Church House on Saturday at 5pm for some entertainment and a taste of South Korean foods.
