Every year since SAMS started at Littleck Methodist the Shedders have organised a sausage and bun sizzle outside. Open to all and to passing Coast to Coast Walkers.
Last year Shedder Roger added a new dimension by mapping out some walking routes for individuals or small groups to take from outlying places to Littlebeck for the Sizzle and short service. The service introduced the appeal theme for 2019. It is infant mortality in the developing world.
On one of the walks and attending the event were around 20 South Korean students who are in our region during May.
The Whitby Area Sheds have arranged a workshop day for the students at Sleights Scout Hut. They will make two play workbenches to be installed in the planned Community Space there and will enjoy some Eskdale Fisheries fish and chips!
