Growing Good in Staithes with Fish & Chips in Whitby

The greenhouse project is now focused on the job of doing what a greenhouse is for – growing!

In front of the greenhouse there is a new patio area with growing containers made from recycled drainage pipes.

Krampus are one of the supporting “acts” and they have been busy o

n Wednesdays during the Shed to prepare some very attractive banners made using the batik technique which involves wax to protect areas of fabric from dyes.  In the photos below, the pattern is the area protected by wax.

Meanwhile the Shed finished the 8′ planter . . . .

Entirely made from recycled pallet timber. It is on the ledge parallel to the trod alongside the Scout Hall.
