BayThorpe Shed First Day

A working party of local Shed initiators made their mark on the surrounds of the Robin Hood;s Bay Scout Hut that is the home of the BayThorpe Shed. A team of 10 turned up and the banter started.

The Scouting landlords had arranged some external repairs this week and the clear up (removing greenery, moss and leaves on paths, some old pallets (or were they a bug hotel!) etc). A train of dumpy bags went to the waste site in Whitby 🙂

We received a timber delivery ready for inside work in due course and a dust extractor, combi drill set, table saw and  a circular saw arrived with Graham.

LIDL middle aisle items were procured in the afternoon.

To cap it all, it was a dry, warm day.

Next week Stuart &Co plan to finish the remaining outside clear up (we need a yard broom!) and we’ll start on internal planning and maybe a bit of experimentation inside too. Time for thinking caps!

Very satisfying, was the verdict.
